AppleOne Banawa Heights kicked off the summer season with activities its residents and homeowners got to participate in.
Following the success of last year’s campaign called “Rediscovering Your Passions at AppleOne Banawa Heights,” it continues to provide a place where new experiences can be discovered as it introduced “Summer Synergy,” a day filled with activities and workshops: Guests were taught how to make their own facial masks with ingredients they can find in the kitchen; an ice cream making workshop; a mocktail entertainment where drinks were served together with an entertaining performance.
In addition, an inflatable sports wall was set up for kids and adults to have fun with as well as a basic capoeira lesson taught by Grupo União Capoeira Cebu. AppleOne Banawa Heights “Summer Synergy” provided its residents and potential homeowners not only the chance to experience a fun summer but also how one can spend it at the San Francisco Bay area-inspired property.
SET in the heart of Lapu-Lapu City, a ceremonial groundbreaking led by developers, realtors and local officials for Cebu-based developer AppleOne Properties Inc. (API) took place at its latest 7,500 square meter property. Scheduled for completion in the next three years, Mahi is strategically located in MEPZ 1 along M.L Quezon Ave., just two kilometers from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
Mahi Center is designed to be a structure that will soon rise as an information technology (IT) center that will house a five-storey building with IT facilities, two floors of office spaces, three floors of commercial retail spaces as well as a rooftop bar and restaurant. In addition to this, a conveniently located walkway and transportation hub will stand adjacent to the center, which will also have direct access to a hotel with 12 floors and 180 rooms.
Set to be a lifestyle destination in Mactan, the hotel side of this establishment signed into contract together with the world’s largest operator of hotels, Marriott International, for the use of the franchise Fairfield Inn & Suites. Fairfield is Marriott’s second largest brand and will also be the very first Fairfield Inn & Suites in the country.
The mix of facilities coupled with lifestyle features and a world-renowned hotel will certainly make the development the first-of-its-kind in the region.
Staying true to its mission of delivering with innovation, as the company continues to develop landmarks of strength along with iconic partnerships, this current project by API is a new gateway to a dynamic and vibrant Mactan
The Residences at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort promises the best when it comes to island living.
To get a sense of what it will be like to stay at the first Sheraton branded residences in Southeast Asia, several guests were invited at the property last Jan. 24, 2019 for an afternoon at Sheraton, held at its showroom, where guests had the chance to experience “inspired living” through their five senses.
It was a multi-sensory journey that aimed to inspire the guests of the experience the property wishes to convey. That afternoon, it touched on all five senses: “taste” was a generous spread of buffet stations offering different cuisines and free-flowing cocktails and drinks. For “smell,” guests got to craft their signature scent at one of its bedrooms. “Sight” was a photography experience at its well-decorated photo area and picturesque setting. For “sound,” it was a musical experience, while “touch” was all about creating experience.
Set in Mactan shores, the property provides an oasis where residential owners get to live in a space that provides the kind of luxury one experiences when staying at a hotel or in one’s own home.
For many people, Christmas is a special time of the year and an occasion worth celebrating. Festive holiday fills your surroundings with festive spirit and thanksgiving, it also gives your brand, employees and values a boost while imparting seasonal cheer and creating unique visual experiences to enhance the moods of visitors and employees alike.
Adorned with traditional Christmas colors, the twelve-feet (12ft) Christmas tree of AppleOne Equicom also had a Santa corner beside it, which was especially dedicated to children as symbol of gratitude for its success in the industry over the years. Making the ceremony even more meaningful as it already was, the Children’s Joy Foundation serenaded the crowd with its joyful rendition of popular Christmas songs.
Driven by his innate holding ability to feel compassion excelled in service towards the needy, API employee-volunteers have showed up at Tinaan, Naga to donate relief goods that included clothes, toiletries, sleeping kits, food, water, milk and cooking sets for the victims of landslide caused by heavy rainfall and quarrying operations by APO land private corporations in Naga Cebu that claimed 78 lives, injured 18, with 6 missing.
The donation drive, with a sense of commitment is an endeavor that can spark someone’s soul in the midst of pain and loss because where there is love, humanity survives. “On behalf of the people of Naga, I wish to thank all those who have sent donations and especially those who came all the way here to personally deliver their assistance,” Mayor Chiong said. “Your help has somehow lifted our spirits.”
This API- initiated engagement has encouraged that the incident might be tragic but it has proven yet again that people can unite, work together, and help each other in times of need.
We at AppleOne Banawa Heights, understand the needs of the Cebuanos to feel connected to the energy and dynamism of the city but at the same time, be grounded in a home that truly enriches their lives and their families. AppleOne Banawa Heights doesn’t just provide you with a home to live, but a home to rediscover your passions in life.
In our continued pursuit to bring forth to Cebuanos different and unique experiences for them to rediscover their passions in life, we are pleased to announce the third installment of our Passion-driven Open House series, the Neon Zumba with live DJ set by AppleOne Banawa Heights. Given the popularity of Zumba as a past-time or exercise for Cebuanos, we wanted to offer the same well-loved activity, but elevate the experience entirely; making it more engaging, more memorable, and of course more vibrant. We set out to create Cebu’s first ever Neon Zumba last September 22, 2018 (Saturday).
Why neon? We made sure it was dark so everyone was illuminated in bright neon colors of orange, green, pink and yellow as we gave all participants neon shirts and glow sticks to wear as accessories. To further amplify the bright glowing colors, we thought the right music was key to get everyone in the same energy. But not just any music, we had to fuel their energy with a live DJ set to accompany our Zumba instructors. Beats by DJ Polky Yu kept the energy alive all throughout the night, making sure everyone’s bones were moving, pulse was raising, and heart was beating to every note. The activity was held at the open space area of the Villas by AppleOne Banawa Heights, engaging participants of all ages who came together and danced together: kids feeling the joys and whims of their youth, young teens and young adults getting serious with every step and every beat, and even seniors didn’t miss out on the fun as they sought to reignite their vigor and carefree spirits with Zumba. With 2 hours of non-stop Zumba, participants got to experience the type of lifestyle which the Villas at AppleOne Banawa Heights promotes – cultivating a community of active, vibrant and dynamic individuals who care for enriching experiences that allow them to be closer and more connected to themselves and to their families.
In partner with PBSP (Philippine Business for Social Progress), AppleOne Properties, Inc, rallied its employee-volunteers to plant 7,500 seedlings (in three hectares) in the Buhisan Watershed.
Buhisan Watershed Forest Reserve (BWFR) is a 600-hectare protected area which forms part of the Central Cebu Protected Landscape (CCPL), also called the Cebu’s hilly lands. It is Metro Cebu’s primary source of water. The Buhisan Dam itself provides about five percent of the Metro Cebu Water District’s (MCWD) water supply.
The program aims to sustain the water supply in Cebu, improve lives of poor households through alternative and eco-friendly livelihood opportunities, and transform the BWFR into a sustainable eco-tourism destination. The tree planting caravan is API’s response to help provide a sustainable solution to the BWFR’s rehabilitation and watershed conservation efforts, and it is also one of the company’s various platforms for employee engagement.
